Martin Luther King "I have a dream"

Marthin Luther King, un om care nu a mai putut sa taca si sa se abandoneze unei disperari in care conditia negrilor din SUA, chiar considerata nedreapta, e totusi acceptata ("the Negro lives on a lonely island of poverty in the midst of a vast ocean of material prosperity").
Un om care s-a opus biciului manuit de stapan si care cere totul sau nimic ("We can never be satisfied as long…").
Miscarea sa de revolta este mai mult decat un act de revendicare a unor drepturi (I have a dream today…) si elibereaza suvoaie vigurioase dar nu violente ("Let us not seek to satisfy our thirst for freedom by drinking from the cup of bitterness and hatred").
Revolta nu se naste numai la oprimat, ci se poate naste si atunci cand asisti la spectacolul opresiunii a carei victima e altcineva ("for many of our white brothers, as evidenced by their presence here today, have come to realize that their destiny is tied up with our destiny").
Miscarea negrilor este in primul rand spirituala ("Again and again, we must rise to the majestic heights of meeting physical force with soul force") si actioneaza in numele unor valori comune tuturor oamneilor ("Free at last! Free at last! Thank God Almighty, we are free at last!).
